Chepstow improvements.

Part 1 July 2001

Chepstow racecourse is now under going some changes. The parade ring is now being moved from the back of the main grandstand to the front of the stand.


As can be seen here in July 2001 the construction is well under way and should be completed well before the main event of the year The Welsh National.


The new parade ring will be right in front of the main stand in the Tattersalls enclosure.


Other changes include the winners enclosure being removed and the building being demolished. It is not clear where the new winners enclosure is going " Watch this space "
