After Halcon Genelardais great win in the race last year who knows what will be in-store for us today.

There are good horses entered for the race including past winners Halcon Genelardais (2006) L'aventure (2005) and some old favourites like Sir Rembrandt and Mon Mome.

As usual in the lead up to the meeting the weather was a worry and the ground has turned out to it's usual soft and at this time of year the 3m 7f will take a lot of getting.
